On March 4 2025, Jimmy Saunders and Mike Lennon of KR8 Advisory were appointed Joint Administrators of ResortHoppa (UK) Limited and its affiliated companies. After a thorough marketing process, KR8 Advisory successfully sold the group’s business and assets to Elife, a US-based global ground transportation provider.
Although the business had navigated the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, which heavily impacted the travel sector, a recent slowdown in bookings coupled with supplier difficulties led to short-term financial issues.
Jimmy Saunders, Managing Director at KR8 Advisory, commented:
“Despite management’s best efforts to secure long-term funding, these attempts were unsuccessful. However, the sale to Elife presents an opportunity to continue growing the Hoppa platform, furthering its mission to provide transportation solutions to millions of customers worldwide.”.
